Pre-School is set in the rural village community of Wheddon
Cross.
Initially established in August 2001 Dunkery Pre-School has
gone from strength to strength to provide a wide range of
educational facilities, maximising our resources by close
association with Cutcombe First School and CLOWNS

OUR
AIM
We are
committed to provide a safe and friendly environment in
which children aged 2 to 5 can develop in confidence and
ability to achieve their full potential.
Our caring, professional staff provides a structured programme
of “learning to learn through play” working
within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Dunkery
Pre-School is a registered Charity run by a voluntary committee.
We are OFSTED registered and a member of the Pre-School
Learning Alliance. |
WHAT
DO WE OFFER
We work closely with parents/carers to ensure that they are
fully informed of their child’s progress. We also provide
a “Key Worker System” where by each child receives
individual care and attention.
All our staff are highly experienced and hold NVQ - 3 Early
Years Child Care & Education training or equivalent and
attend regular training days throughout the year. |

BRIGHT FUTURE
Dunkery Pre-School is delighted to announce
that we have now moved into new, purpose-built premises
at Cutcombe First School. Our close partnership with the
school is a positive influence on our children allowing
a smooth transition from pre-school to school. Within this
setting the children have access to great play facilities
which cover the 6 areas of development, a fun and secure
out door area and superb IT facilities. |
OPENING
HOURS
Monday 09.00 - 15:00hrs
Wednesday & Friday 09:00 - 12:00hrs
Term times only.
Children are provided with healthy snacks and refreshments.
A hot main meal and pudding are provided for the Monday full day
session
at a cost of £2.00 per child.
FEES
£10 per 3hr session
(Nursery education funding for 3 -4 yr olds accepted.)
