GUIDANCE
ON COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM
Please read these guidance notes before completing the form.
Grants cannot be retrospective.
Supporting invoices and receipts, which must be submitted as proof
of the proper use of the grant, must post-date any letter telling
you that your application has been successful. Any successful grant
must be taken up and proof submitted within six months of notification
of award.
The application form
will be photocopied so please use a black pen and write clearly,
or type online and submit as an e-mail attachment. Signatures are
not required for online applications, but may be requested before
a formal offer of a grant is made. If you need more room for your
answers please continue on a separate sheet.
Grant applications will
normally be considered twice annually, in March and September. Closing
dates for applications will be 15 February and 15 August each year.
Grants may be considered at other times only if extenuating circumstances
can be evidenced.
The amount available
for disbursement each year is limited, and support for the two schools
of the Foundation takes precedence.
Applicants will not be asked
for details of their financial standing, but some evidence of the
need for external help will be expected. All applications must conform
to the objects of the Foundation.
At present, financial constraints require the Foundation to concentrate
on support for the two Foundation Schools. Therefore no individual
grants are likely to be processed until further notice.
Applications are considered only from individuals and not from groups.
